The ASUC Sustainability Team (STeam) Earth Week committee invites you to join us in appreciation and celebration of the planet Earth! This year's theme is “Expanding Levels of Engagement: From Personal to Global.”

April 16th - April 20th will be one week jam-packed with a variety of events focusing on what it means to Go Green! From engaging in discussions on ecological issues to learning about innovative ways to implement a sustainable lifestyle, STeam seeks to put on exciting and educational events to inspire and bring environmental awareness to Cal students.

Stop by our table on Sproul 10am-2pm any day throughout the week, you can pick up an Earth Week “Passport,” and at every event you attend, be sure to get a sticker on this passport. The more stickers you have by the end of the week, the bigger prize you can get at our table on Friday! We’ll be giving away everything from reusable bags and coffee mugs to concert tickets, restaurant gift cards, and vouchers for a new pair of shoes!

Also, visit the table on Sproul any day from 10am-2pm and score some great discounts to local green eateries and shops by filling out a pledge. This is a pilot program run by the Little Green Book initiative. For a complete list of participating businesses, see http://littlegb.berkeley.edu. We promise it will take only 30 seconds -- and you'll thank yourself later when ordering cheap, green takeout food during Dead Week! Be one of the first 300 to check us out and get a free green book or a button!
